Community Steps In to Help Third Ave Urban Farm
Just one day after interns from TD Bank worked to beautify our Third Ave urban farm, community volunteers continued their good work at our newest large growing site. They not only applied a second coat of polyurethane on the gazebo and raised beds; weeded, but also built the frame for the perennial herb box; put shingles on the gazebo roof; built a trellis for pear trees; knocked out the cemented stones; and put in flowers and herbs on the planned apiary.
