One of the most valuable contributions anyone can provide for individuals with special needs is a paid job.
Many of our consumers complete a program of work readiness, education and/or training geared towards developing work ethics and gaining work experience. Our staff work one-on-one with each person as well as employers to help to identify qualified individuals for full-time jobs.
Individuals have secured employment in mailrooms, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and institutions throughout New York City. Typical jobs include: porters, drivers, maintenance specialists, chefs and other food service positions.
