SUS offers people their own place to live so that they may focus their energies on recovery rather than survival. It is from the safety of their homes, with access to a host of services and supports, provided in an atmosphere of respect and hope, that people begin their journey towards wellness and self determination.Supportive housing is the single most effective, and most cost-efficient, way to reduce homelessness. It strengthens communities and helps integrate people with disabilities and other special needs into the life of their neighborhoods.
