Veterans encounter a wide range of co-occurring challenges upon their return which hinders successful transition to civilian life. Issues facing returning veterans include legal problems, physical injuries, mental illness and substance abuse, homelessness, unemployment, and problems with family, marital and personal relationships.

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) ranges from $2,400 to $9,600 per Veteran hired.
