The world over, work is a fundamental aspect of life.
Many of the people who come to SUS for services complete a program of work readiness, education and/or training geared towards developing a work ethic and gaining work experience. Our staff works one-on-one with each person as well as employers to help identify qualified individuals for competitive jobs.
Individuals have secured employment in mailrooms, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and institutions throughout New York City. Typical jobs include: porters, drivers, maintenance specialists, chefs and other food service positions.
