This International Women’s Day, we acknowledge the barriers women and girls face for just being who they are. Gender, race, religion, disability, age, or culture are some of the many reasons women may risk discrimination.
From tending beds of herbs and vegetables as urban farmers, to empowering themselves as survivors of domestic abuse, to advocating with their state legislators in Albany, we are proud to celebrate women and their contributions to our communities!
