Many families and individuals are affected by mental illness. According to a recent White House report, two out of five adults report symptoms of anxiety or depression. S:US plays a critical role in the health and well-being of more than 37,000 of New York City’s most vulnerable individuals and families each year, helping them overcome complex and challenging life circumstances – including mental health challenges. Support is urgently needed as we face a mental health crisis exacerbated by the pandemic.
S:US is participating in NAMIWalks Your Way NYC on Sunday, May 22 at South Street Seaport to raise mental health awareness.
Our Team S:US NAMIWalks fundraising page is live! We encourage you to share this page with your friends, loved ones, and people in your networks to promote mental health awareness, raise funds for NAMI’s mission, and let people know we’re together for mental health. Funds raised through NAMIWalks will support NAMI’s free top-rated programs in our community, while raising awareness, reducing stigma, and creating inspirational bonds among so many mental health supporters.
