Advocacy At Work
Earlier this week S:US staff and representatives from our community of consumers joined the New York State Association of Community and Residential Agencies (NYSACRA) in Albany to meet with legislators around the governor’s proposed budget and provisions that impact our work, specifically, an increase in the minimum wage, credentials for Direct Support Professionals and investment in new housing and service opportunities.
