The event brings together the S:US community and many of our food security partners in celebrating seasonal successes!

Program

• S:US Community Fair (11AM-3PM): Tables highlighting S:US programs
  • Urban Farms – our urban agriculture and therapeutic horticulture work
  • Food Security – our community fridges, food distribution, and other food security projects
  • Wellness & Community Engagement – the achievements of our volunteers and our community wellness initiatives
  • Employment & Entrepreneurship – supported employment and vocational training, as well as our entrepreneurship initiative
  • Sales/Fundraising – with Urban Farms honey, swag and other products available to purchase, as well as assistance in becoming an S:US Sustainer
  • Real Estate – climate resilience and green initiatives within our housing portfolio and in our upcoming projects
  • Garden Tours – the design and function of the community garden at Alafia, particularly the use of agroforestry and climate resilience principles
