A Safe Place to Pause, Heal, and Feel Supported
When life feels overwhelming, having a calm, caring place to land can make all the difference. Our Crisis Residences offer short‑term, voluntary support for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. We provide a peaceful, homelike environment where guests can regroup, reconnect with their strengths, and move from fear toward hope.
Crisis Residence stays are voluntary, short‑term, and focused on emotional stabilization. Guests may stay up to 28 days and have 24/7 access to Peer Specialists who offer understanding, compassion, and lived‑experience support.

What You’ll Find With Us
A Warm, Home‑Like Environment
Our residences are designed to feel peaceful and grounding. Comfortable spaces, soft lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere help you breathe a little easier from the moment you arrive.
Supportive People Who Listen
Guests receive support from Certified Peer Specialists and mental health professionals who understand crisis and walk alongside you without judgment.
Short‑Term, Voluntary Stay Options
Guests may stay 1–28 days, depending on their needs. During this time, we focus on self‑identified goals, coping skills, and emotional stabilization.
Guidance Toward Stability
We help guests reconnect with their strengths and explore strategies for moving forward. While we offer emotional and peer support, crisis residences are not able to help guests find housing and are not an alternative to permanent housing or shelter.
A Community That Cares
Our mission is rooted in serving people who are too often overlooked or underserved. Everyone deserves safety, respect, and a chance to heal.

You Deserve Support
If you or someone you care about is struggling, reaching out is a sign of strength. Our Crisis Residences are here to offer comfort, stability, and hope—one step, one conversation, one moment at a time.
Coming Soon: Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center
To support adults, youth, and families experiencing mental health or substance use challenges, Services for the UnderServed also operates the Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center (SCSC)—a welcoming, walk‑in space where anyone can come for immediate, caring help during a crisis that is opening soon. The SCSC provides a calm place to catch your breath, connect with peer support, and receive short‑term stabilization without the pressure of a hospital setting. While our Crisis Residences offer a longer voluntary stay of up to 28 days, the SCSC is there for those who need same‑day comfort, grounding, and guidance. Together, these programs create a compassionate pathway toward safety, clarity, and hope.
