S:US To Join Rally For Better DSP Pay!

Representatives of S:US will attend the 300 Days to Better Pay Campaign press conference on the steps of City Hall, Manhattan at 11 am on July 15 to remind state leaders that direct support professionals (DSPs) and other agency staff are “agents of the state” who deserve and need fair pay that equals the work they do.
The “300 Days To Better Pay” campaign began in Albany at the State Capitol in early June. The campaign builds off of the success of the #bFair2DirectCare campaign launched earlier this year to ensure that the increase to the state’s minimum wage included funds to support the salaries of individuals working in not-for-profit intellectual/developmental disabilities sector.
