As a proud member of Services for the UnderServed’s (S:US) Board of Directors, I will be sharing my story with you to demonstrate how even the most difficult of circumstances can be overcome with the right supports.
At one point in my life I was homeless and struggling with addiction, and when things were the hardest, I felt completely alone. I found the support of experts and people who treated me with dignity and respect, just as S:US does for tens of thousands of people each year.
