Celebrating Direct Support Professionals!
This week is Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week – a time to showcase the amazing and often unsung work of these incredible professionals. Our DSPs are invaluable to our mission and the people we serve!
People with intellectual/developmental disabilities rely on the care of DSPs. DSPs help them with essential daily functions, medication administration, nutrition recommendations, domestic chores, and more. They also help people learn how to do things for themselves. DSPs are a lifeline to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Their compassionate care and dedication enable the people we serve to lead fulfilling, independent lives, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
We thank DSPs for everything they do for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families today and every day.
