Couple Donates Car to Veteran in Need

Effie Huber and her husband (a Vietnam Vet) donated their 2000 Honda CRV with 86k miles, new battery and new tires to Jose, a Veteran served by S:US.
After serving 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Jose experienced mental health and medical conditions that impeded his life. S:US has worked with Jose to help secure stable housing, which he will self-sustain.
Jose is grateful for the car donation that will afford him the opportunity to get to and from medical appointments on his own. Mr. and Mrs. Huber have dedicated much of their time and money to various Veteran programs and were excited to be involved with S:US in this way.
