Evening of Opportunity
November 17, 2015
Weylin B. Seymour’s, Brooklyn, NY
The 2015 S:US Benefit Evening of Opportunity will bring together leaders from New York’s business and philanthropic communities at one of New York’s most historically significant and beautiful locales.
Our Evening’s honoree is Andrew Hurwitz, Partner, Entertainment Group at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein + Selz. As former Chair of the S:US Board, working together with Donna Colonna, CEO of S:US, Andrew oversaw the organization’s growth from $90 million to $180 million in just three years. Andrew’s leadership has been remarkable and selfless, and the combination of tenacity and heart has brought the organization to new heights in numerous ways.
The venue, Weylin B. Seymour’s, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has been hailed as “…the now event space in the city…architecturally stunning…restored to its former splendor.” The Evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres in the Guggenheim Museum Young Collectors Council exhibition space during the Council’s Inaugural Exhibit. The S:US Benefit Evening of Opportunity is being hosted by Women for S:US, women who are passionately dedicated to helping more than 25,000 New Yorkers lead a healthier life through their philanthropic, thought leadership and networking efforts.
Co-Chairs for the Evening are Gareth Old, Chair of the S:US Board and Partner, Clifford Chance as well as Jen Press Marden, Vice Chair of the S:US Board and Co-Founder of Women for S:US.
The 2015 S:US Benefit Evening of Opportunity will be a glorious occasion unified by a single purpose: Opportunity for All.
