George Mendes Cooked For Urban Farms
On May 18, George Mendes joined a team of New York’s greatest chefs to prepare a mouthwatering 5-course meal at our Dinner For A Better New York to help raise funds for S:US Urban Farms.
George is a first-generation Portuguese-American who has been a chef in Paris and Washington and now works at the Lupulo and ALDEA restaurants in New York.
He combines avant-garde cooking with his own personal flair while staying true to the original flavors of the ingredients.
