Help S:US finalize the theme for a new mural in East Harlem

S:US is collaborating with Brooklyn Community Services (BCS) on the NYC Mural Arts Project (NYCMAP). It is the aim of BCS and S:US to unveil the mural by the end of June 2023 at a program location in East Harlem. Read more about the project here.

The team is seeking community input and engagement. Collaborate with NYC-based artist Arantxa X. Rodriguez and our S:US community to create a mural in the neighborhood. Make art, share what mental health means for you and your community, and give us your ideas for the mural theme. Together, we’ll turn those conversations into a neighborhood landmark, a vibrant new mural.

Join us on Thursday, January 5, 2023, 6-8PM for an evening of community-building and rethinking mental health, with art activities and free dinner. Bring friends and family of all ages. Everyone is welcome. Save your spot here!

This project is in partnership with NYC Mural Arts Project, Brooklyn Community Services, and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
