Congratulations to S:US Interim President & CEO Perry Perlmutter for being honored among City & State’s 2023 Nonprofit Power 100 List! The list recognizes the most notable nonprofit leaders who are strengthening the safety net and serving the most vulnerable individuals in New York.

For more than 45 years, S:US has worked with vulnerable individuals and families in New York, helping them escape poverty and create pathways to rich, productive lives. Overseeing a budget of $273 million and 1,800 staff, Perry guides efforts to provide an array of shelter, housing, treatment and recovery supports, employment and skills-building, therapeutic horticulture, and crisis programming services to New Yorkers in need.
