Robin Hood Renews S:US’ $250,000 Grant For Veterans Services

For the third year in a row, the board of Robin Hood Foundation has approved a one-year grant for S:US, in the amount of $250,000, to help expand veterans services.

“You and your staff have, by fulfilling the terms of the previous contract, effectively served the needs of poor families in your community, We are pleased to renew our poverty-fighting partnership.”

Eric Weingartner, Managing Director, in an award letter

S:US will use the grant to connect 260 veterans and their family members to services, including primary care, legal services, employment and housing; to improve coordination among various veteran service programs both within S:US and the city. Previous grants have resulted in similar services for over 1,000 veterans and their families.
