S:US Reaches COVID-19 Challenge Fundraising Goal!
S:US is grateful for the extraordinarily generous challenge gifts from both a dedicated S:US Board member and a longtime supporter, who together, inspired many of you to join them in helping advance our vital mission.
Thanks to many of you, more than $150,000 has been committed to successfully complete S:US’ COVID-19 Challenge that ended on June 15th. Donations are being utilized to keep the individuals we serve and our frontline staff equipped with masks, gloves, and other PPE, and your support has been crucial to helping us address the growing needs of thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers impacted by this pandemic.
Your contributions have helped us get such a great start on our COVID-19 Fund. As you would imagine, the need for PPE and products to ensure the safety of our staff and the people we serve will be ongoing for the foreseeable future. We look forward to keeping you apprised as we continue to build this critically important Fund.
While we will undoubtedly face more challenges in the coming weeks and months, the outpouring of support has been a significant boost for the work that still lies ahead.
