S:US Receives Mayoral Recognition Certificate for Volunteerism

Services for the UnderServed (S:US) has been awarded a Mayoral Service Recognition Certificate by Mayor Eric Adams and NYC Service to honor our commitment to volunteerism in 2024. This recognition acknowledges the significant role our work plays in strengthening our communities and our collective efforts to actively connect volunteers with opportunities to help New Yorkers in need throughout the year.
Each year, NYC Service hosts the Mayoral Service Recognition Program to celebrate the power of service in New York City. This initiative honors individuals, city agencies, and organizations that build a culture of service, use volunteerism to address community challenges, and step up to support New Yorkers in need.
A special thank you to our Volunteer & Community Relations team, our staff, and our volunteers for making this achievement possible! Their passion and dedication drive meaningful impact across our programs and continues to transform our communities and the lives of the people we serve.
