Teen Volunteers Transform Briarwood
On April 17, teens from Marks Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst rolled up their sleeves to kick off the transformation of the gray concrete square into an outdoor living room for the residents of S:US Briarwood. The volunteers brightened up the space with murals, built planters for the residents to grow vegetables, herbs, and annuals, and built a gazebo for the residents to sit under in the summer.
