This white paper discusses the complexities of food insecurity, highlights innovations and best practices in food justice, and calls for collective action to eradicate food insecurity in our communities.
Support our Food Security Programs
Your gift will support S:US’ Urban Farms and Food Security Program, which provide fresh produce for people served by S:US, including New Yorkers who have developmental disabilities, people with substance use or mental health challenges, and/or people who have experienced homelessness. In addition, participants in S:US Urban Farms learn about healthy eating, gain new skills that can lead to job opportunities, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of working in nature.
